Patrick & Robinson CPAs add partner
Patrick & Robinson CPAs, with offices in Jacksonville and Ponte Vedra, named Timothy P. Raines as partner. He joined the firm in 2012 as tax manager and is the firm’s first non-founding partner. Mark Patrick started the company as Patrick and Associates in 1982 and it became Patrick & Robinson CPAs in 2002, when Adam Robinson joined as partner. The company will start the process of updating its brand and logo to reflect Raines’ position after tax season.
Riverside Chevrolet opens along Philips Highway
Riverside Chevrolet of Jacksonville said it will kick off its grand opening from 5-7 p.m. April 5 at its dealership at 3494 Philips Highway. General Manager Damon Ferguson said the dealership will make a donation to the Greater Jacksonville Area USO. The property was formerly Jerry Hamm Chevrolet. Riverside Chevrolet said it is a full-service dealership serving Jacksonville, Orange Park, Atlantic Beach, St. Augustine and neighboring areas.
Leadership Jacksonville to honor Cost, Stein
Leadership Jacksonville will honor community leaders Tim Cost and David Stein at the 22nd Annual Celebration of Leadership on April 18.
Cost is president of Jacksonville University and a graduate of New Leadership Summit XI.
Stein, who will be recognized as an honorary lifetime member, is a philanthropist, investor and businessman.
The event is 6-8 p.m. at the Jessie Ball duPont Center, 40 E. Adams St. There will be free valet parking.

Tison market manager of the year
Jacksonville Farmers Market Manager Greg Tison was named the National Market Manager of the Year at the National Association of Produce Market Managers’ annual conference. Tison has upgraded and expanded the market since becoming manager in 2010. He currently oversees a market facelift that will result in wider sidewalks, added canopies, and safety and access improvements. Founded in 1938, the Jacksonville Farmers Market is the state’s oldest and most attended public farmers market. It is open 7 a.m.-6 p.m. daily except on Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Execs O’Loughlin, Jones retiring
Memorial Medical Center President and CEO Jim O’Loughlin will retire Friday after five years in the position. Under his leadership, Memorial has increased its services and opened the area’s first freestanding emergency department. Today there are three. Memorial Hospital is owned by HCA. Tom Pentz, who has held a number of roles with HCA, has been named interim CEO and will begin Monday.
Jacksonville native Donald “Don” Jones is retiring May 7 as CEO of the Jacksonville-based American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists after leading the organization since 1997. Jones has dedicated his more than 47-year career to medical association management. He also is former executive director and CEO of the Florida Medical Association, where he spent the first 29 years of his career.
Ameris, FirstAtlantic add execs
Tony Ong has joined Ameris Bank as senior vice president, commercial real estate division manager. His responsibilities include planning, directing and organizing commercial real estate lending activities for the bank, while supporting existing loan relationships and pursuing new loan opportunities. He most recently served as senior vice president and market commercial credit manager for TD Bank.
Dameon Church has joined FirstAtlantic Bank as an assistant vice president and financial center manager. He is responsible for managing the Cobblestone Financial Center at 105 CBL Drive in St. Augustine. He was most recently with TD Bank.
Mayo named to health care council
Michael A. Mayo, hospital president of Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville, has been appointed to the Council of Regents, the legislative body of the American College of Healthcare Executives. As hospital president of Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville, Mayo is responsible for the operational and strategic direction of the 691-bed flagship hospital of Baptist Health.
Walker & Dunlop hires team
Walker & Dunlop Inc. has hired a Capital Markets team based in Jacksonville. Taylor Williams is joining as senior vice president and managing director and James Hoggatt as vice president. The team will be supported by senior analyst Holly Fabrick and will be responsible for sourcing and structuring permanent, bridge, and construction loans for all commercial real estate property types.
