Morton’s The Steakhouse will reopen Tuesday, the company said in a news release.

The restaurant, which is on the first floor of the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront hotel at 225 E. Coastline Drive, has been closed since Hurricane Irma flooded the hotel and Downtown in September.

The Hyatt has said it will remain closed until Oct. 30 while it undergoes repairs.

Morton’s said the dining room will be open Monday-Thursday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Friday-Saturday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. The restaurant bar will open one hour earlier.

Morton’s had opened in the hotel in June. It is leasing about 6,900 square feet of restaurant space that formerly housed the former Plaza III The Steakhouse, which closed in 2009.

Houston-based Morton’s previously operated on the Southbank, but closed in early 2012 as part of shutdowns after a change in ownership.
