Another former Kmart property could spark redevelopment.
Austin Kay with Prime Realty Inc. is listing the closed discount store at 4645 Blanding Blvd. for sale or lease.
The 107,000-square-foot building is listed at $3.5 million. The lease price is $4.35 a square foot.
Prime Realty says on a flyer the property could be used for retail, self-storage, warehouse or redevelopment purposes.
There also are potential outparcel opportunities, it says.
The flyer says the property is 11.5 acres. The site is in Southwest Jacksonville.
Property records show the building was developed in 1969.
Sears Holdings closed the store in early 2013 soon after it shut down the Kmart at Beach and University boulevards.
That property is slated for redevelopment as retail stores and restaurants.
The closed Sears store in Regency Square Mall also is being marketed for lease.
Eric Bumgarner with Prime Realty Inc. said this week a prospective buyer has the Sears property under contract and is marketing it to auto dealerships and other commercial users.
Sears, Roebuck and Co. closed the department store in July 2016.
