Memorial Hospital trauma center certified: The Florida Department of Health certified Memorial Hospitial as a Level II Trauma Center. Memorial’s trauma center provides 24-hour access to operating rooms, specifically trained surgeons and specialists to treat critically injured patients.

Summit building in the Keys: Jacksonville-based Summit Contracting Group is building a $40 million workforce housing development in the Florida Keys. The 

garden-style multifamily development comprises 208 units in nine buildings.

New Nassau-Jacksonville bus service: The Jacksonville Transportation Authority has reached an agreement with the Nassau County Council on Aging Inc. to begin direct bus service from Yulee to Downtown Jacksonville beginning Dec.3.

National Auto Care agrees to be sold: Jacksonville-based National Auto Care Corp. has reached an agreement to be acquired by Lovell Minnick Partners. NAC is a  provider of automotive finance and insurance industry products. It was established in 1984 and acquired by Trivest Partners in 2012.  Lovell Minnick Partners is a private equity firm specializing in financial and related business services companies. Financial terms were not disclosed.
