Maple Street Biscuit Co. is moving its corporate office from Downtown Jacksonville to a site in Orange Park that will be more convenient for employees and visitors, founder Scott Moore said.

The location on Corporate Way off Wells Road is more centrally located for the 15 employees who work in the main office, Moore said.

The company also wanted a site with easier parking than in Downtown, not only for the employees but also for visitors to the office, he said.

Maple Street’s office is on the top floor of the Level Office co-work and office suites building at 25 N. Market St.

Moore started Maple Street with partner Gus Evans with a single restaurant in San Marco in 2012.

In a little more than five years, it has expanded to 20 locations, including several restaurants in Tennessee.

“It’s been an interesting journey,” Moore said.

The company will soon be opening additional Florida locations in Seminole and St. Petersburg, he said.

Maple Street’s employees should be completing the move to the Clay County office within 45 days, Moore said.
