Joseph Mitrick, president of Baptist Medical Center Beaches, was honored by Sulzbacher Center with the “2018 Beaches Healthy Hero” award. The award recognizes outstanding commitment to improving the health and well-being of the Beaches community.
Bradley Talbert, president and CEO of Memorial Hospital, was elected to the Jacksonville Civic Council. The council is a nonpartisan group of business, civic and nonprofit leaders that tackles community issues.

John Delaney was awarded president emeritus status from the University of North Florida Board of Trustees. Delaney retires from UNF on May 31 after 15 years as president.
