New home for ABET: Atlantic Beach Experimental Theatre is partnering with 500 Atlantic to move to Neptune Beach Plaza this summer.
The shopping center, the former home of Kmart, is being redeveloped into a mixed-use neighborhood called 500 Atlantic. ABET will move temporarily to the Lucky’s Market building and will later relocate to a permanent facility within the development.
The group also is changing its name to All Beaches Experimental Theatre.
Money for ElderSource: ElderSource received $400,000 in state funding to provide home-delivered meals to elderly Northeast Florida residents. State Sen. Aaron Bean, R-Fernandina Beach, and Rep. Travis Cummings, R-Fleming Island, worked together to secure the money.
St. Vincent’s expands online scheduling: Online scheduling now is available for St. Vincent’s primary care and pediatrics providers. St. Vincent’s says it is the only provider in the region to offer online scheduling for urgent care, emergency care and mammography.
