The Women’s Law Group “Destroy Domestic Violence” event Oct. 23  raised more than $500 for Hubbard House programs and services for victims of domestic violence.

Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Assistant Chief Lakesha Burton was the guest speaker.

Title Boxing offered self-defense instruction and Frenchy’s Day Spa offered chair massages for guests.

Byron joins Lockett Law

Leslee Byron joined the Lockett Law DUI and criminal defense firm as an associate attorney.

A graduate of the University of Tampa and Florida Coastal School of Law, she also is a licensed Realtor.

Kelly honored with Angels in Adoption Award

Brian Kelly, partner at Shorstein & Kelly, was recognized by the Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute with the 2018 Angels in Adoption award.

U.S. Rep. John Rutherford nominated Kelly for the award for his contribution to adoption law and his service to adoptive families.

Kelly is a board-certified adoption attorney and a member of the American Academy of Adoption Attorneys.
