Bozard Ford Co. bought the former Gander Mountain property at 550 Outlet Mall Blvd. in St. Augustine for a Bozard Lincoln dealership.

The company paid $5.6 million for the property, acquiring it from U.S. Bank as the trustee. St. Johns County is reviewing an application for Bozard to convert the closed Gander Mountain store on 7.5 acres into a Bozard Lincoln dealership.

Bozard Land LLC owns 10 acres next door at 540 Outlet Mall Blvd. where Bozard Ford Lincoln now operates.

Notes:

CVS Pharmacy is building in East Arlington next to a new Wawa gas station and convenience store.

CVS applied to the city for the $900,000 construction of a 13,250-square-foot store on 1.18 acres at 11900 McCormick Road.

No contractor is identified.

CVS said in April it intended to open there in July 2019.

The site at southwest McCormick and Monument roads is about a mile from space CVS leases at 1531 Monument Road in the Monument Pointe Plaza.

RaceTrac Petroleum Inc. intends to develop a 5,400-square-foot gas station and convenience store at 8715 Baymeadows Road, the site of a closed Wells Fargo bank branch.

The city is reviewing a permit application for Venture Construction Co. to build the project on 1.42 acres at a cost of $1.2 million for the building, canopy and dumpster enclosure.

RaceTrac applied for a certificate of use for the site. It’s at least the fourth new RaceTrac under construction or in planning in Jacksonville. RaceTrac operates at least 17 stores in Northeast Florida.
