Chick-fil-A wants to renovate its Regency area restaurant as part of a brand-image remodel.
The Atlanta-based chain proposes a $680,000 project to modify the roughly 4,000-square-foot property at 9398 Atlantic Blvd., which was built in 2000.
Chick-fil-A also is renovating its Tinseltown restaurant to include interior and exterior work, including a redesigned dining room, a dual-line kitchen and adding another drive-thru lane.
That site, at 4461 Southside Blvd., will close this fall for four weeks for the project.
A spokeswoman said in May that Chick-fil-A planned to remodel two or three Jacksonville area locations annually for the next five years as part of its long-term reinvestment strategy.
