New YMCA for St. Johns: First Coast YMCA plans to open a facility next summer in St. Johns County. It will be at Flagler Health Village in Murabella near World Golf Village. The YMCA is part of Flagler Hospital’s development to provide one-stop access to medical services, health and well-being resources, education and fitness.

New Montoya partnership: Jacksonville-based wealth management company Montoya & Associates formed a partnership with Tampa-based insurance broker and risk management firm Baldwin Krystyn Sherman Partners. Montoya & Associates will continue to operate under its name in conjunction with Kestra Investment Services and Kestra Advisory Services.

Community First Credit Union opens in Oakleaf: Community First Credit Union is open at 9690 Applecross Road in Oakleaf Town Center. The 3,300-square-foot financial center is the credit union’s 19th branch.

Gresham name change: Nashville, Tennessee-based architectural, engineering and design firm Gresham, Smith and Partners is now Gresham Smith. The Jacksonville office of the firm is Downtown at 225 Water St.

$6 million gift for JU: Jacksonville University announced Wednesday it received a $6 million unrestricted gift from The Carl S. Swisher Foundation. “An unrestricted gift of this magnitude is a rare opportunity to move our University forward, accelerate our momentum, and fuel our progress,” JU President Tim Cost said. The late Carl Swisher is among JU’s first major donors. The Carl S. Swisher Library and Historic Swisher Gymnasium are named in his honor. JU recently completed the largest fundraising campaign in its history, raising more than $121.4 million from 14,000 supporters.
