Baptist Health announced it completed the expansion of the Baptist/Wolfson Children’s Emergency Center in Northwest Jacksonville.

The $5 million project added 10 private treatment rooms for adults. The center now comprises 26 exam rooms.

“The new expansion will allow us to reduce wait times and continue to deliver the quality care people have come to expect when choosing Baptist for their emergency medical needs,” said Darin Roark, vice president of ambulatory campuses and system emergency departments at Baptist Health.

The emergency center is part of the Baptist North Medical Campus at northeast Dunn Avenue and Interstate 295.
