Southwest Airlines is ending nonstop service from Jacksonville and Dallas Love Field on Jan. 6.
The airline will offer connecting service with as little as one stop, Southwest spokesperson Dan Landson said in an email.
Landson said the decision to end the service was based on performance reviews and demand.
“We are always evaluating our service patterns and performance to ensure that we are offering the right number of seats for the community based on demand from travelers,” Landson said in a statement.
