SoBA, a new luxury apartment community at 1444 Home St. on the Downtown Southbank, announced Monday it is preleasing units with the first residents scheduled to move in next month.
The 147-unit, four-story community offers one-, two- and three-bedroom units from 605 to 1,201 square feet. Monthly rents range from $1,330 to $2,245.
The community was developed by Catalyst Development Partners of Atlanta and is managed by Greystar, based in Charleston, South Carolina.
Interior finishes include gourmet kitchens with granite counters, table-size islands, stainless steel appliances and walk-in showers. Each unit includes full-size washers and dryers.
Amenities include a 24-hour fitness club with Peloton bikes; co-working space; coffee café, resort-style pool; summer kitchen with gas grill stations; a fire pit and an outdoor game lounge.
Summit Contracting Group Inc. was the contractor for the apartment building and a three-story parking garage at a construction cost of $15 million.
Catalyst Partners paid $2.45 million in May 2018 for almost 1.92 acres at 1444 Home St. and 0.81 acres at 1059 Kipp Ave.
