Brandon Meadows, Hans Wahl and Austin Calhoun are new partners at Jimerson & Cobb.

They are the firm’s first former law clerks to become partners.

Calhoun joined the firm in 2011. Wahl joined in 2012 and is board certified in condominium and planned development law. Meadows joined the firm in 2013.

“They started at the very bottom and pushed themselves to the top,” said managing partner Charles Jimerson.

Clerk adds criminal fines to ePay

The Duval County Clerk of Courts expanded its online system to allow payments for more types of transactions.

The ePay option now accepts online payments for most criminal case types, including criminal traffic, misdemeanor and felony.

The system can be accessed at epay.duvalclerk.com and can accept payments from Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover cards.

There is a 2.75 percent vendor-imposed convenience fee for using the online payment system that is not retained by the clerk’s office.

Since it launched in 2017, nearly 80,000 customers have used ePay to make payments totaling more than $11 million.
