New furniture store: JaxCo Furniture is open at 9978 Atlantic Blvd. in the space formerly occupied by Rec Warehouse. The store said in a news release it focuses on millennial and first-time homebuyers with affordable pricing and low-pressure sales.
Store on the move: Ferguson Bath, Kitchen & Lighting Gallery plans to move about 12 miles south to a new showroom at 11511 Philips Highway. The 77,358-square-foot showroom and warehouse is under construction by Stellar Group Inc. The project is anticipated to be completed by August. The store is now at 3003 Philips Highway.
Crowley speeds service: Crowley Logistics expanded its North Atlantic vessel network by increasing the speed of services between the Northeastern U.S., Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic and the Caribbean Basin islands. Crowley increased its cargo capacity by adding flat deck barge 455-4 into service. Crowley now offers six southbound and northbound trips per month between the northeast and San Juan.
