Peter Sutton was promoted to vice president of health, safety, security and environment and operations integrity for Crowley Maritime Corp.’s shipping business unit. Sutton joined Crowley’s petroleum service group in 2015 as manager of health and safety. In 2018 he was named managing director of health, safety, security, quality and environment.
Dr. Christine Cauffield was elected president and chair of the Florida Association of Managing Entities. The organization provides services to underinsured and indigent residents of Florida who have substance abuse and/or mental health disorders. Cauffield is CEO of LSF Health Systems.
Burdette Ketchum promoted one and added three members to its team:
Mark Stevens was promoted to executive vice president, chief growth officer, from executive vice president, account management and operations.
Ed Barlow joined as senior vice president, strategic planning. He is responsible for marketing and research management and will lead brand strategy for client branding.
Roberto Munoz joined as account and research manager, responsible for coordinating research and analytics for clients.
Taylor Shutts joined as marketing and administrative coordinator providing marketing assistance and operational support of client accounts.
D. Hunt Hawkins was reappointed to the Florida State College at Jacksonville District Board of Trustees by Gov. Ron DeSantis. Hawkins, chief executive of Stein Mart Inc. has been a trustee since 2017.
Flagler College hired one and promoted another:
Sandra Miles joined as vice president of student affairs. She was vice provost for student affairs and dean of students at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
Margo Thomas was promoted to senior director of alumni and college relations from director of alumni relations. Thomas joined Flagler College in 2006 after graduation from the college.
Kloe Thompson was promoted to director of club operations at Freedom Boat Club. Thompson, who joined the company in 2013, is responsible for operations at the club’s three franchise locations in Jacksonville, Jacksonville Beach and St. Augustine.
