After 20 years leading the organization, St. Vincent’s HealthCare Foundation President and Chief Development Officer Jane Lanier will retire July 12.
Virginia Hall, foundation vice president, will succeed her.
Lanier and her team raised more than $150 million, supporting programs that include growing the Mobile Health Outreach Ministry.
“I couldn’t possibly list all of the meaningful ways Jane has positively contributed to the Mission and ministry of St. Vincent’s HealthCare over the course of her distinguished career,” Tom VanOsdol, president and CEO of Ascension Florida, said in a news release.
“We must now work to build on Jane’s incredible legacy, and I’m completely confident Virginia Hall is the right person to do just that,” he said.
Hall is a fourth-generation Clay County resident and also is the executive director of the J.P. Hall Children’s Charities, created by her father and named after her grandfather.
Hall served six years on the Green Cove Springs City Council and was the city’s youngest mayor.
She has been with St. Vincent’s HealthCare since 2012. Before joining the foundation, she served as St. Vincent’s HealthCare’s system director of advocacy and community engagement and helped with the opening of St. Vincent’s Medical Center Clay County.
In Florida, the faith-based Ascension health care organization operates St. Vincent’s HealthCare based in Jacksonville and Sacred Heart Health based in Pensacola.
