RL Platinum 1 LP  purchased the Bankers Life Building for $4,332,500.

The seller was Acorn Southpoint LLC, led by David E. Gonzales of Acorn Property Holdings LLC.

 Keith Goldfaden, Daniel Burkhardt and Luke Feldman of NAI Hallmark represented the seller.

 Acorn purchased the 3.92-acre property at 6620 Southpoint Drive S. in 2010 for $1.8 million according to property records. 

Memorial Hospital plans expansion

Memorial Hospital Jacksonville plans to expand services to northern St. Johns and southern Duval counties.

In February, the hospital purchased an almost 4.2-acre site along Philips Highway from Gate Petroleum Co. for $3.71 million. 

Memorial plans to develop primary and specialty care clinics at the site along with an adjacent free-standing emergency center. 

Memorial anticipates opening by the end of 2020.

New community at Shearwater

Toll Brothers is building homes in The Falls neighborhood of the Shearwater master-planned community south of County Road 210 in St. Johns County. 

The community comprises 117 one- and two-story single-family homes from 2,306 to 3,389 square feet. Prices start in the upper $300,000s.
