Operation Green Light is a limited-time program available through the Duval County Clerk of Courts that allows people who have overdue tickets or fees to pay in full while avoiding the customary 40% collections surcharge.

The clerk’s office has deposited more than $100,000 in overdue fines and fees from customers paying online since the program began Saturday.

Fines must be paid in full by cash, money order or credit card. Checks are not accepted. Late fees and interest will not be waived.

The clerk's office at the Duval County Courthouse and the clerk’s Beaches branch at 1543 Atlantic Blvd. will be open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. during Operation Green Light.

Payment can also be made online by visiting epay.duvalclerk.com. The deadline for online submissions also has been extended to 5 p.m. Friday.

Visit duvalclerk.com/greenlight for the details.

Those paying off fines with a suspended license may be able to restore their driving privileges when the outstanding fines and late fees are paid and there are no other pending issues.
