Bunulu, Bealls Inc.’s women’s coastal lifestyle store, will close its St. Johns Town Center location Jan. 31, according to an email sent to customers Dec. 14.

Its other two locations in The Gardens Mall in Palm Beach Gardens and at Coconut Point in Estero will close as well.

At St. Johns Town Center, Bunulu leases 3,749 square feet at 4751 River City Drive, No. 143B.

“Since 2015, we have been able to bring you the latest fashion and unique items that makes living in the sun so much fun! And from the bottom of our hearts, we thank you,” the email to customers read. “It’s with great sadness that we must announce our store closures beginning January 2021.”

A store associate said 20% off clearance sales began Dec. 14. A Bealls spokesperson couldn’t be reached for comment as of 12:30 p.m. Dec. 15.

The store is open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sundays.

Bunulu sells women’s swimwear, clothing and accessories. Its website says the store is about “style, sunshine and good times.”

It opened in the St. Johns Town Center in 2015. Bradenton-based Bealls Inc. targeted the store to women 35 and older.

The email encouraged customers to continue shopping at beallsflorida.com and beallsoutlet.com.

“We’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you for your loyalty over the past 5 years, and we wish you all the best,” the email said.
