The North Florida Land Trust restructured its staff and renamed its land protection department as the conservation programs department.

Two staff members have new positions. Marc Hudson, the land protection director for the past eight years, is now the director of strategic conservation. Rebecca Perry, the associate land protection director for two years, was promoted to director of real estate and community conservation.

The nonprofit trust also is considering adding a position within the stewardship department to help manage its land portfolio and to help manage new initiatives.

Trust President Jim McCarthy said he will be looking at sources, including grants, to fund any new positions.
