Calm before the storm?

Today is election day, but the Supervisor of Elections Office was hopping Monday as crowds lined up outside to attend to last minute voting details, with many picking up absentee ballot forms. Across the street, people held up signs in support of Democratic gubernatorial candidate Bill McBride and U.S. Rep. Corrine Brown. A police officer was directing traffic and there was a line to the door most of the day. Elections officials are expecting a turnout of 50 percent or better. The Rev. Jesse Jackson also stopped by to encourage local residents to “get out and vote.”
