Chamber annual meeting Dec. 13

The Chamber’s new leadership will be formally introduced and inducted at the 11th annual meeting Dec. 13 at the Osborn Center.

This year’s gathering will have a patriotic theme throughout and there will be a new award: the Small Business Person of the Year honor has been moved to this time.

Entertainment will be provided by the St. Johns River City Band, the Edward Waters College choir and singer Kelly Rees.

Outgoing chair Carol Thompson of Baptist Health will review her year and welcome her successor, attorney Lynn Pappas. The 2002 officers, executive committee and board will be introduced.

The evening starts with a reception at 6 p.m. with the dinner an program at 7. It’s black tie optional.

The major sponsors are PRI and Lee &Cates.
