Charbula appointed to Duval County Court

Charbula is director of the Legal Division for the Office of the State Attorney for the 4th Judicial Circuit.

Gov. Rick Scott appointed Meredith Charbula to the Duval County Court to fill the vacancy created when Judge Eric Roberson was named to the 4th Judicial Circuit Court.

Scott announced the appointment Monday.

Charbula, 59, of Jacksonville, is director of the Legal Division for the Office of the State Attorney for the 4th Judicial Circuit.

She previously worked in private practice and as an assistant attorney general for the Department of Legal Affairs in Tallahassee.

Charbula received her bachelor’s degree from Tarleton State University and her law degree from Florida State University College of Law.
