“This is my first one,” Stamov said. “If everything goes well, I want to open more here. It’s a growing city.”

GPZ Solutions LLC, led by Stamov,  is the franchisee for the 3,546-square-foot Culver’s restaurant in Collins Town Center in southwest Jacksonville.

Harmony Farms of Jacksonville L.L.C. sold the 1.04-acre site to GPZ Solutions on June 25 for $1.055 million.

Another franchise group opened the area’s first Culver’s in July 2019 in Middleburg and intends to open its second about Aug. 1 along Gate Parkway in Jacksonville.

Franchisees also are working on locations in Arlington; in Yulee in Nassau County; and in St. Johns County.

Wisconsin-based Culver’s features ButterBurgers, frozen custard and cheese curds and has several more sites in review.

Real estate broker Clint Murphy, president of Jacksonville-based Murphy Land and Retail Services Inc., represents Culver’s in its area site search.
