Downtown Council to repaint Jaguar paws

Football season is quickly approaching and the Downtown Council of the Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce will begin showing their support of the Jacksonville Jaguars this Saturday.

Starting at 7:30 a.m., the Council will paint large yellow paw prints down Bay Street leading to Jacksonville Municipal Stadium.

This year marks the 12th year the Downtown Council has shown its support towards Jacksonville’s NFL team.

Participants will meet at the foot of the Main Street Bridge at Bay and Ocean streets. Parking is available in the lot between the Chamber building and the intersection of Bay and Ocean streets. Parking will be free for the two-hour event.
