Building on the success of the inaugural event in October 2021, the Duval County Clerk of Courts will have its second annual “Let’s Drive JAX!” driver’s license reinstatement expo Sept. 26-30 and Oct. 3-7 at the Duval County Courthouse.

The program allows people to work directly with the appropriate state agencies and/or the court to determine how to reinstate their driving privilege.

“This is a great opportunity to get back on the road safely,” Duval County Clerk of Courts Jody Phillips said in a news release.

Participating agencies include: the 4th Judicial Circuit, the 4th Judicial Circuit State Attorney’s Office, the 4th Judicial Circuit Public Defender’s Office, the Florida Department of Revenue, the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles and the Duval County Tax Collector.

Preregistration is required to participate. The clerk’s office will research each situation and contact registered participants to explain the process and set up an appointment to come to the courthouse at a designated time during the two weeks of the expo.

The clerk’s office will not be able to assist people with licenses revoked, suspended or canceled because of out-of-county or out-of-state matters.

More information, along with the online registration form, can be found at www.duvalclerk.com/drivejax.
