Ellianos Coffee announced May 31 it is building a drive-thru location in the Brierwood area at 8781 Old Kings Road S., near Baymeadows Road, that will be franchised to father and daughter Jared and Megan Cady.
Ellianos, based in Lake City, has two stores operating in Northeast Florida at 125 Lane Ave. in West Jacksonville and at 301 Blanding Blvd in Orange Park.
Including those three, a dozen sites have been identified for Ellianos franchisees in Clay, Duval, Nassau and St. Johns counties.
All of the locations are drive-thrus.
Ellianos offers specialty espresso drinks, smoothies, latte freezers and more, as well as food items such as breakfast grit bowls, breakfast sandwiches, bagels, cookies, brownies and chicken salad croissants.
Scott and Pam Stewart founded Ellianos in 2002.
There are 22 operating store locations, with more than 60 locations in development, according to the release.
