The Jacksonville Bar Association and the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office team up annually to deliver presents to seniors served by the Meals On Wheels program. They gathered last Monday at The JBA offices in the Aetna Building on the Southbank. Pictured, from left, JBA Executive Director Susan Sowards, JBA President Courtney Grimm, Sheriff John Rutherford and JBA Holiday Project Chair Rose Marie Preddy. JBA members sign up to provide a gift and they can either deliver the gift themselves or have it delivered by the Sheriff’s Office. Almost 500 JBA members signed up to participate and The JBA had more members sign up than there were seniors to serve this year.
