City Council on Tuesday presented a framed resolution to Financial News & Daily Record publisher Jim Bailey (second from right) and his staff honoring and commemorating the paper’s 100th anniversary today. The resolution also declared today “Financial News & Daily Record Day” in Jacksonville. The resolution highlights Bailey’s achievements and family ownership of the paper, in addition to his service to City and community boards, among other distinctions. It was introduced by Council President Bill Bishop (right) and co-sponsored by Council member Doyle Carter (left) and several others. Next to Bailey is his wife, Donna.
