Construction continues at Jackson Commons, the $4.5 million, 66-unit housing community at 3631 University Blvd. and Fort Caroline Road.

Orlando-based Tramell Webb Partners Inc. is developing  the 3.3-acre site with townhomes for Jacksonville University faculty and staff as well as undergraduate and graduate students.

Plans indicate six buildings containing 17 four-bedroom/four-bath townhomes, one three bedroom/three-bath townhome, 18 three-bedroom/three bath flats and 30 two-bedroom/two-bath flats.

The plan includes an outdoor kitchen, pool and a 4,125 square foot retail space.
