Jacksonville Area Legal Aid, Inc. (JALA) and the Jacksonville Bar Association (JBA) gave back to the community by hosting their 1st Blood Drive. Members of the JALA and the JBA team joined together in an effort to save the lives of children who are affected by the sickle-cell anemia disease. Because the blood drive received such a positive response from JALA and JBA team members the Florida George Blood Alliance has requested that another Blood Drive be schedule after the first of the year.
