JaxPort announced is now fully operational.

Earlier limits on larger vessels have been lifted, the port said Thursday afternoon.

JaxPort asks that Carnival Ecstasy cruise passengers scheduled to depart Thursday arrive at the cruise terminal by 6 p.m.

Information about the cruise ship's itinerary is at Carnival’s website.

The https://help.carnival.com site shows that Ecstasy passengers will take free bus transportation to Port Canaveral for departure because of JaxPort’s storm-related restrictions.

Carnival asks passengers not to drive to Port Canaveral because the ship will return to Jacksonville on Monday.

Carnival canceled its call on Freeport because of Hurricane Dorian’s impact on Grand Bahama.

Purchased shore excursions for Freeport will be automatically refunded to passengers’ accounts.

Carnival said it would continue with its plans to visit Nassau, on the island of New Providence, as scheduled.
