The JEA board of directors recognized utility linemen who provided mutual aid for Baltimore Gas and Electric and the Long Island Power Authority after those areas in the Northeast were affected by Hurricane Sandy. In total, two waves of 65 linemen and 31 vehicles left Oct. 28 for Baltimore.
