The Jacksonville Economic Development Commission met Wednesday morning at the Osborn Center. Five projects received unanimous approval and will now be sent to City Council for final approval.

Those projects are: One Metro North, a multi-use commercial development on North Main Street; Dialysis Clinic, Inc., which plans to move from Riverside to a new facility in LaVilla; the St. Joe Company headquarters, a 140,000 square-foot facility with a 420-space parking garage on Riverside Avenue; renovation of the Clara White Mission on West Ashley Street; and the Casto Southeast, Inc. proposal to build a 480,000 square-foot distribution center on a 150-acre parcel of land in the Westlake Industrial Park on Pritchard Road.

The next JEDC meeting is scheduled for Dec. 5 at 9 a.m. at the Osborn Center.
