“The Consuming Image: New Painterly Pop” exhibition opened last week at the Jacksonville Museum of Modern Art. The gallery is showcasing six contemporary artists who have followed in the footsteps of other pop artists such as Andy Warhol. To underscore the light, commercial feel, candy suckers were given to patrons. The exhibition will be on display through May 3.
