The Jacksonville Women Lawyers Association held its opening reception Thursday at River City Brewing Company during which the association welcomed its new board. Anita Pryor is the president, Mary Scott is president-elect, Stephanie Harriett is secretary and Lindsay Tygart is treasurer. New and returning members were also welcomed by the sounds of the “Strings of Fire” band playing on the stage on the brewing company’s outside deck.
New and used books were collected by Community Connections to donate to kids ages 6-13.
