Kickball rebirth for JBA

The Jacksonville Bar Association Kickball League earlier this year saw the most participation since its rebirth three years ago.

Teams from Ansbacher Law, Farah & Farah, Parra Harris Law, Plata Schott and a gang of misfit attorneys who called themselves The Ballbarians battled each Tuesday night for six weeks at San Jose Elementary School.

Players on each team bonded with each other in facing their common foes.

Heated rivalries were formed through fierce contests and strong contributions were made by players of all ages and skill levels.

The league is set to have its most competitive year yet next season when standards will be raised and rigorously enforced.
