How did you become involved?

I can't say no. I have been working with the City Rescue Mission program since law school at the urging of Blane McCarthy. Kathy Para helped me become involved last spring at the inception of the seniors advance directives project.

How can someone else become involved?

Just say 'yes.' JALA and the Christian Legal Society are always seeking new participants. Each group has different areas where your assistance can make a big difference. If anyone needs to become connected to the right person for volunteering, call me.

What have you learned/achieved through the experience?

How very blessed my life has been and how lucky I am to possess an ability with which to help others less fortunate.

What was the last book you read or are reading?

Since I drive from St. Augustine every day, I listen to a lot of audio books and I am an avid reader at home. Right now, I am listening to "The Cider House Rules" by John Irving and reading "The Robin Hood Trilogy" by Marsha Canham.
