Mission
To provide free, quality health care to the low-income working uninsured.

Serving Jacksonville
Formed in 2003, Jacksonville-based. VIM-Jax is one of 86 VIM Alliance member clinics across the country. The alliance acts as a clearinghouse for best practices and information-sharing and assists communities in creating new VIM clinics.

Those served
All who live or work in Duval County; 5,451 individual patients were served from September 2003 through July 2011 – 35,884 full clinical appointments provided (includes: examinations, lab tests, mammograms, ultrasounds, prescription medications, eyeglasses, treatments and surgeries – all provided free of charge).

Biggest challenge
Juggling myriad responsibilities and having enough hours in the day to complete them.

Biggest satisfaction
Tangibly making life-enhancing physical improvements in the lives of our patients.
