Mission
In an effort to reduce juvenile crime and instill positive values, character and leadership skills, PAL provides safe activities for the youth of Jacksonville. Our athletic and educational programs emphasize positive interaction with law enforcement officers and other adult role models.

PAL was incorporated in 1972.
Those served
We serve more than 3,000 children annually. PAL has four community-based locations and also operates after-school programs at R.L. Brown Elementary School and Palm Avenue Exceptional Center. These are the community-based locations: Headquarters at 2165 W. 33rd. St., Northside; 3450 Monument Road at Ed Austin Regional Park, Southside; 441 Day Ave., Mallison Park, Westside; and 1050 Franklin St., Eastside.
