Northeast Florida CVS stores plan renovations

Almost $1.4 million in upgrades planned.

At least five area CVS Pharmacy stores are in line for almost $1.4 million in upgrades. In addition to new wall and floor finishes and millwork, work includes adding new self-checkout units. 

In Jacksonville, the city issued a permit for Diamond Contractors Inc. to renovate the CVS Pharmacy at 50 Duval Station Road in North Jacksonville at a cost of $225,000. 

Jacksonville also is reviewing permits for a $300,000 remodel at 3634 Rogero Road; a $300,000 renovation at 4475 San Juan Ave.;  and a $225,000 interior renovation at 4280 Southside Blvd.  

St. Johns County issued a permit for a $310,000 renovation for CVS at 152 Front St. in Ponte Vedra Beach.
