Welcome to the inaugural Top Contractors edition of the Jacksonville Daily Record and JaxDailyRecord.com. The newspaper and website compiled a list of the area’s top contractors based on 2020 revenue and also is featuring four top contractors that do business in the area but are based elsewhere.

Contractors provided the information that is used in this edition.

To produce this report, we solicited contractors from Dec. 1 through mid-February to complete the online form and submit the information.

To make the Top Contractors list, companies must be based in the five-county Northeast Florida area of Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau and St. Johns. We extended the boundary to include two Gainesville-based firms.

We asked those based out of town that are listed separately to focus on their area projects.

We invited companies from all types of contracting fields, including general construction, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, roofing, pools, painting and demolition.

Contractors who want to be included but did not send in the form are invited to watch for next year’s request.
