NorthPoint Development, with Building B completed, is starting work on Building C, its next speculative warehouse at Park 295 Industrial Park.

Park 295 is at southwest Interstate 295 and Duval Road in Northwest Jacksonville.

The city approved a permit application June 24 for the foundation for Building C, a 394,277-square-foot multitenant distribution center at 2737 Ignition Drive, next to the first structure.

James R. Vannoy & Sons Construction Co. Inc. of Jefferson, North Carolina, is the contractor for the foundation/slab at a cost of $2 million.

The city also is reviewing a permit for the Vannoy Construction to build the warehouse at a construction at a cost of $16.2 million.

The city issued a permit March 9 to clear the 23.49-acre site.

A site brochure says it will be completed in the fourth quarter.

NP Jacksonville Industrial LLC, part of Riverside, Missouri-based NorthPoint, is the property owner. Kimley-Horn and Associates Inc. is the civil engineer.

Medical supplies distributor Sarnova, power company APR Energy, Ulta Beauty Inc. and Quiet 3PF leased the 552,634-square-foot Building B at 2619 Ignition Drive.

Through NP Jacksonville Industrial LLC, NorthPoint paid almost $4.77 million in August 2018 for about 175 acres to develop the five-building project, totaling almost 1.8 million square feet of Class A industrial space.

Newmark Phoenix Realty Group handles leasing.
