Fernandina Beach attorney Robert Peters has won the 4th Judicial Circuit Pro Bono Attorney of the Year award.
Selected by Jacksonville Area Legal Aid, Inc., Peters was recognized for his pro bono work in domestic cases over the last few years.
Peters says it’s a way to give back (Legal Aid helped with his mother’s divorce years ago).
He will receive the award March 14 in Tallahassee.
