Property Appraiser Jerry Holland offers Gate River Run contest

Duval County Property Appraiser Jerry Holland ran his first River Run 15K 40 years ago in 65 minutes.

He’s posted a challenge with a possible reward on his Facebook page asking people to predict his performance in the 2018 Gate River Run that begins at 8 a.m. Saturday.

If someone guesses Holland’s official time within 15 seconds – and without going over – they will be Holland’s guest for lunch at the Cowford Chophouse, Downtown at Bay and Ocean streets.
