A bill following up the state’s red light camera bill with changes that include standardization of light times, and a number of clarifications about things from right turns on red to what happens if someone gets a ticket and they weren’t driving the car, was approved Tuesday by the Senate Transportation Committee. The measure combined SB 590 and SB 568 and easily passed the committee with just one vote in opposition.
