The city issued a permit Feb. 17 for J. Lane Construction LLC to build-out 1,816-square-feet of space at Pablo Creek Plaza for national cookies and ice cream company Crumbl Cookies at a cost of $188,000.

The address is 3267 Hodges Blvd. at southeast Beach and Hodges boulevards. The franchise owner said previously he hoped to open in early April.

Popeyes to St. Augustine

St. Johns County is reviewing an application for Popeyes to build a 26-seat, 1,951-square-foot restaurant and drive-thru on 0.81 acres on part of the parcel at 2325 Florida 16.
