The city is reviewing a permit application for construction of an 8,779-square-foot Discount Tire store on 1.44 acres at 11567 San Jose Blvd., south of Interstate 295 between Loretto and Marbon roads in Mandarin, at an estimated cost of $950,000.
The city approved a permit April 19 for ELEV8 Demolition to take down the closed bank that was on the site.
The city is reviewing an application for Claire’s to build-out 1,454 square feet of space at River City Marketplace at an estimated job cost of $75,000.
Claire’s, a fashion jewelry, accessories and decor store for what it says are “tweens, teens and young girls between 3 and 18 years of age,” has Northeast Florida locations in St. Johns Town Center and The Avenues and Orange Park malls.
